There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.

Therefore, once you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It may just return you to the drawing board.

You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.

Does this make sense?

I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And there’s really only one reason why…

You tend to have cravings for whichever foods your diet doesn’t allow you to consume, which another diet plan 100 percent allows. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not kid ourselves. Food videos are usually 100% irresistible. 😉

Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉

This is surely standard, conventional advice. There’s probably good reason for this!

Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And you may not want to play around with those.

Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • scoops (60g) Protein Powder
  • 1/4 cup macadamia nuts 
  • Fat Bomb Mold
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Heat a saucepan to low heat.
  2. Add the coconut oil and protein powder. Using a spatula stir the ingredients together until you get a smooth white consistency. The mixture will come together in under a minute.
  3. Pour into a silicone mold equally to make ten fat bombs. We poured about 80% of the way up for each fat bomb.
  4. Roughly chop the macadamia nuts and distribute over the 10 fat bombs evenly. Note: Any nut will work!
  5. Optional: sprinkle the fat bombs with a little sea salt to amp up the flavor!
  6. Put the fat bombs in the freezer and allow to set for at least 2 hours.
  7. These can be stored in a ziplock bag in the freezer up to 2 months.
