Low Carb Steak. Trimmed sirloin steak, soaked in olive oil and Montreal Steak Seasoning, set aside ..
Mixed cut up low carb veggies, bring to boil, turn off…. frozen green beans, 5 minutes in microwave, season with garlic butter, salt and pepper….grill steaks at 500-550 degree grill, 5 minutes one side, flip, 6 minutes other side (one inch thick steaks)..less time for thinner meat.

So let’s chat a bit…
There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
For this reason, the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You’re very likely to find yourself starting all over, from scratch.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Food and drinks that one eating plan won’t let you consume, a totally different program totally allows. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest here. Food videos are often ridiculously knee-weakening. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This is surely conventional wisdom. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
