Moving on…

There are obviously many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.

Therefore, once a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start menu planning, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It’ll probably have you returning to square one.

It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Pretty basic stuff, right? But it’s super important.

Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. The reason for this is actually quite simple…

On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. On calorie-restriction, you crave high calorie foods. And let’s call a spade a spade… Meal prep videos are usually undeniably irresistible. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.

I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉

This, of course, is common-sense weight loss. There’s probably good reason for this!

Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.

At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
