So let’s chat a bit…

These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.

Therefore, the moment the choice has been made, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You’re quite likely to wind up starting all over.

This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.

Make sense?

I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. Why did I do this? Only one reason…

On low-fat, you crave fat. On low-calorie, you crave calorie-rich foods. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not kid ourselves. Meal prep videos are oftentimes ridiculously will-shattering. 😉

Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Seems pretty logical, really. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!

No doubt that this is the world’s most popular weight loss advice. There’s probably good reason for this!

Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup egg whites
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 pkgs stevia sweetener (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • *optional* unsweetened heavy whipping cream, raspberries or blueberries, or no-sugar-added syrup

Method

  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, beat your egg whites until they become white, light and fluffy, creating peaks when you lift out your mixer.
  • Next add in your baking powder, sweetener and almond milk and gently fold in with a spatula.
  • Next, fold in your coconut flour (and note that it will deflate the mixture a lot).
  • Spray your heated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and pour about half of your batter into the iron, leaving room for the batter to expand as it cooks (don’t fill the iron or it will overflow).
  • Cook until the waffle has browned and easily lifting away from the iron.
  • Carefully remove from the iron, plate and serve along with the toppings of your choosing!
