There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. It can be overwhelming to decide.
That’s why I believe that, as soon as the choice has been made, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You’re very likely to wind up back at the drawing board.
It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Foods that one diet program allows, another, seemingly equally legitimate program is probably going to turn its nose up at. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not BS ourselves. Food-based videos are often pretty darn knee-weakening. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
It’s conventional weight loss advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.

Then, using your browser’s bookmarking feature, begin saving the videos that you like. Create a whole new bookmarks folder that you can name “Low Carb Cooking Vids,” unless there’s something else you like more.
