Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. It can be overwhelming to decide.

I believe that the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You might end up starting all over.

Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.

It’s basic, but hugely important.

I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…

You typically develop pretty powerful cravings for those foods that your plan disallows, which an entirely different diet program 100% permits. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s make no mistake about it… Cooking videos are often 100% difficult to resist. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.

Makes sense to me. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.

Clearly, this is conventional wisdom. As well it should be!

Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
