Diet plans clearly abound. It can be overwhelming to decide.
That’s why I believe that, as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. This often takes people back to the starting line.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
This is extremely important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Food and beverages that one diet deprives you of, a totally different diet program totally permits, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s call a spade a spade… Meal prep videos are oftentimes pretty damned difficult to resist. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Eat clean, don’t stuff your face all the time, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is the world’s most popular weight loss advice. And this is for good reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
