So here’s the story…

Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.

That’s why I believe that, as soon as you’ve decided on a particular diet, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You just might wind up starting all over.

This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Know what I mean?

I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…

On sugar-restriction, you crave sugar. On low-carb, you crave carbs. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s call a spade a spade… Cooking videos can oftentimes be pretty will-shattering. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Seems like pretty responsible advice. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!

This is surely conventional weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!

Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.

At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!

200g Fettuccini cooked as per instructions
150g Sliced Mushrooms (your favourite, we used button)
1 Chicken Breast (200g) diced
2 Cloves Garlic Large or 3 small
400g Light Evaporated Milk
1 onion sliced
Parsley Chopped
1 teaspoon Olive Oil

Cook pasta as per instructions.
Heat pan on medium heat and add onion cooking until softened but not burnt.
Add diced chicken stirring until browned.
Add garlic and mushrooms stirring for a couple of minutes until mushrooms have softened.
Add Evaporated Milk, lots of pepper and a little salt, turn down heat so simmering and reducing liquid, approx 3 minutes.
Add parsley and pasta stirring to incorporate all the flavours.
Serve immediately, option to add Parmesan Cheese on top.
