So here’s the story…
Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
As such, the moment you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. This often takes people back to the drawing board.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Menu items that one program allows, and perhaps even encourages, some totally different program is likely to limit. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s not BS ourselves. Cooking videos can oftentimes be completely difficult to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Makes sense to me. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.
This is standard, conventional wisdom. As well it should be!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And you may not want to play around with those.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!

24 oz cream cheese
16 oz sour cream
5 eggs medium size
2 tsp vanilla extract pure
10-30 drops liquid stevia up to your taste
1/3 cup strawberries for garnishing (optional)
Prep a deep dish springform pan or a deep dish pie pan by greasing it. Put aside for later use.
Whisk the cream cheese for 5 minutes using the lowest setting. Stir in the vanilla flavoring and stevia as well. Lightly beat the mix. Crack one egg into the mixture then mix again lightly. Continue cracking one egg at a time until all the eggs are used. Finally, mix in the sour cream and stir well.
Spread the mix evenly in the prepared the pan.
Set your oven to 325°F. Take the pan to the oven and leave for 55 minutes. Inspect the cake after 45 minutes. When it turns brown, turn off your oven.
After the time is up, open the oven door and turn the oven off but do not remove the pan. Leave it in the oven for an additional hour.
Take out the pan and let stand to cool thoroughly. Place in the fridge for 12-24 hours to set. Longer hours in the fridge means firmer outcome.
Slice into wedges and serve.
