So here’s the story…
Diet plans clearly abound. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
That’s why I believe that, when a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. It will bring you back to square one.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
Know what I mean?
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
Food and drinks that one diet program permits, and perhaps even encourages, an entirely different diet program is going to limit or completely forbid. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest here. Culinary videos can oftentimes be extremely seductive. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
At the end of the day, it makes sense. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
You’ll probably recognize this as conventional wisdom. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And you may not want to play around with those.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
