Diet plans clearly abound. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.

For this reason, as soon as you’ve made your choice, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It will take you back to the very beginning.

You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.

This is extremely important.


I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…

Food and beverages that one program won’t permit, a totally different diet plan 100 percent allows. It’s always super tempting to dabble. They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not lie to ourselves. Meal prep videos are, in many cases, quite will-shattering. 😉

Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.

Makes sense to me. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

This is standard, conventional wisdom. It probably earned its right to be!

But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. And you may not want to play around with those.

Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.

BACON & AVOCADO DEVILED EGG:
INGREDIENTS
6 large eggs
1/2 avocado, mashed
2 strips bacon, cooked and finely chopped
garlic powder

INSTRUCTIONS
Hard-boil the eggs by placing the eggs in a saucepan and fill with enough cool water to cover the eggs by an inch or two. Place the pan over high heat. Once the water reaches a boil, remove the pan from heat, cover and let stand for 13 minutes. Drain water, fill the pot with ice and water to shock the eggs.

Peel the eggs by tapping them gently against the counter to crack the shell. Submerge the egg in iced water in the pot to assist with peeling.
Once peeled, slice the eggs in half, length wise and remove the yolks into a medium bowl. Set cooked egg white halves on the side.
Mash the yolks with a fork, add the mashed ripe avocado, garlic powder, and mix to combine. Add bacon crumbles and combine with the fork until the mixture is cohesive.
Transfer the filling to a plastic zip bag or piping bag. Cut the end and squeeze out filling inside egg white half. Alternatively, use a poon to stuff the egg halves with the egg mixture.
Sprinkle with additional cooked, crumbled bacon, and refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.

MEXICAN FIESTA DEVILED EGG: INGREDIENTS
6 large eggs
2 to 2 1/2 tablespoons guacamole or ¼ avocado, mashed
2 tablespoons salsa or pico de gallo
2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
Taco seasoning, a pinch

Salt & pepper, to taste
