So here’s the story…
There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
Therefore, when the choice has been made, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It will take you back to the beginning.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
Makes perfect sense, right?
That which one program allows, another, seemingly equally legitimate diet program will deprive you of. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s not kid ourselves. Food videos can be extremely tempting. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is clearly common-sense weight loss. As well it should be!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Macro-nutrient ratios are a key focus of many diet plans out there. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
