Hey everyone! Are you hungry? Here are a few of my favorite low carb breakfasts that I enjoy on the days that I’m not doing intermittent fasting. Sure, I still enjoy my traditional big breakfasts, but I try to limit those high carb breakfasts to special occasions only. Thumbs up if these recipes look yummy!

So let’s chat a bit…

There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!

As such, when the choice has been made, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. This often takes people back to the beginning.

It’s really a good idea to build up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer or device. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Makes perfect sense, right?

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…

On sugar-restriction, you crave sweets. On a low-carb diet, you tend to crave carbs. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s tell the truth here. Culinary videos are, in many instances, undeniably hard to resist. 😉

But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.

Makes sense to me. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

You’ll probably recognize this as the world’s most popular weight loss advice. There’s probably good reason for this!

But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!

These low carb pancakes won’t bloat you! You can have this comfort food and still lose weight. Paleo pancakes steer away from the white flour carbs that come from fattening grains without sacrificing the mouthwatering delight that a plate of pancakes delivers. There are plenty of different paleo pancake mixes to choose from.

Holy shizzle, I love these omelet muffins! One egg equals approximately one muffin. Dice up your veggies and add them to your desired number of beaten eggs. Also add salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. The mixture should be thick. Spray your muffin tin and scoop in the mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 22-25 minutes. Omelet muffins reheat very well, and they aren’t just for breakfast. These are great for anytime of day: breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacking!

The is the ultimate definition of easy meal prep. Yes, you can have your bacon and eggs even if you’re in a hurry. Prep everything the night before by hard boiling the eggs, and easily cooking the bacon in the oven (350 degrees for approximately 10-12 minutes). Pack it up in your containers, and the next day you can feed your tummy in a hurry. If you like your bacon warm, it does reheat nicely in the microwave. Store the cooked bacon for up to 4 days in the fridge (be sure to wrap tightly). Boiled eggs will last up to one week in the refrigerator.
