Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. It can be overwhelming to decide.

I believe that the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start menu planning, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. You may very well end up needing to start all over again.

Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.

Pretty basic stuff, right?

In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…

That which one diet won’t permit, some other diet plan completely allows, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And one thing is clear… Food videos are usually ridiculously will-shattering. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.

Seems pretty logical, really. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

This is surely common weight loss advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!

Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.

Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!

18 tater tots
6 eggs
1/2 cup almond milk
tots alone: 20 minutes at 350F
400F for 25 minutes

Rose Zoodles
3 chicken sausages
4 zucchini
1 cup frozen or fresh broccoli
