So here’s the story…
There are obviously many diet plans in the world. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
That’s why I believe that, the moment you’ve made your choice, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You very well may end up back at the starting line.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…
Food and drinks that one diet program doesn’t allow, another program 100 percent permits, and perhaps even encourages. The grass always seems greener on the other side. And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s be honest here. Meal prep videos are usually 100 percent difficult to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
This is clearly the most popular weight loss model in existence. It probably earned its right to be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And you may not want to play around with those.
Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
