Diet plans clearly abound. It can be overwhelming to decide.

I believe that once the choice has been made, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You’re likely to wind up starting from scratch again.

For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.

It’s basic, but hugely important.

Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…

On a low-sugar diet, you crave sweets. On low-calorie, you crave calorie-rich foods. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest here. Recipe videos are, in many cases, 100% seductive. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.

Makes sense when you really think about it. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).

It’s common-sense weight loss. And it probably has that designation for a reason!

Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. It could be detrimental to your results to stray from your diet’s particular ratio.

Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!
