There are obviously many diet plans in the world. It can be overwhelming to decide.
As such, when a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It may just take you back to the starting line.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
You will typically crave whatever items your particular diet plan won’t allow, which an entirely different diet program 100 percent allows. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s tell the truth here. Meal prep videos can be pretty tempting. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
Seems pretty logical, really. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
You’ll probably recognize this as the world’s most popular weight loss advice. And this is for good reason!
But even if your chosen diet isn’t a low-calorie model, you may still be well-served to stick with it long-term. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!

Then, ensure quick and easy future access to each of your favorite recipes by simply bookmarking them in your browser. Add them to an all new bookmark folder which can be called “Keto Meals,” unless unless you have another name in mind.

What you will need:
1/2 cup (100g) butter – room temperature
8oz (226g) cream cheese – room temperature
3/4 cup (150g) sugar substitute (I used erythritol)
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups (200g) almond flour
1 tsp xanthan gum
1 tsp baking powder
red & green food colouring – gel preferred
Use a hand or stand mixer to whip together the butter, cream cheese, sugar substitute and vanilla. Make sure it is all mixed together and no clumps of butter remain.
Add in the eggs and whip again.
Pour in the almond flour, xanthan gum and baking powder and mix until thoroughly incorporated.
Separate into 3 bowls and add in red food colouring into one bowl and green in another. Leave one bowl without food colouring.
Take small scoop of each colour and use your hands to roll them all together. If it’s very sticky, wet your hands before handling. Use the palm of your hand to press the dough into a cookie shape.
Place the cookies onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 350°F / 175°C for 15 minutes.
Take out and let cool before enjoying!
This makes roughly 24 cookies.
