KETO FRIED CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lb. chicken
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic or garlic powder

Coating

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Marinate chicken with salt, onion powder and garlic for about 2 hours.
  2. Mix together the coating ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken in the coating
  4. Shake off any excess.
  5. In a deep cast iron skillet or deep fryer, heat 2-3 cups avocado oil to 375 degrees.
  6. Gently place pieces of chicken in the oil.
  7. Turn the pieces once every 10-20 minutes with the tongs, depending upon the size of the pieces.
  8. Once cooked remove from skillet.
  9. Drain the chicken on paper towels.
  10. Serve with tomato sauce and enjoy.
