Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.

I believe that once you’ve made your choice, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. It may just bring you back to the beginning.

This is why you definitely want to compile a small library of recipes that fit within your particular diet plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

The importance of this cannot be overstated.

I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…

Items that one diet encourages, some other diet will limit or forbid. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And one thing that’s clear… Meal prep videos are, in many instances, pretty darn will-shattering. 😉

If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.

Seems like pretty responsible advice. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.

This is surely conventional weight loss advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!

Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. These are often pretty meticulously calculated, and straying from the prescribed ratio may jeopardize your results.

Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.
