So, these churro mug cakes are actually pretty darn good. I was interested to see how they turned out – I adapted it from a churro cupcake recipe I saw on Food Network. They definitely stood up to the real thing, I’d imagine – and that sweet tooth…totally satisfied.
Hey hey! I hope you were happy with the Churro Mug Cake video. I was to have been able to showcase it here. I personally think it looks pretty tasty!

Here’s the story…
These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
That’s why I believe that, the moment a particular diet has been chosen, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. You may very well wind up in the frustrating position of starting all over from scratch.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
You’re gonna typically develop pretty powerful cravings for those foods and drinks that your particular diet program forbids you to consume, which a competing lifestyle totally permits, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s be honest here. Food-based videos are usually 100% tempting. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Seems like pretty responsible advice. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is clearly standard, conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
A Friendly Recommendation…
