In this quick entry to my weight loss vlog I talk about how I’m successfully shedding some pounds eating the Southwest Chicken Salad (with grilled chicken – not fried) at McDonalds.
This meal fills me up for a good 3.5 – 4 hours and only has about 340 calories – 425 with the dressings I add. I also talk about the excellent Nestle Outshine fruit juice popsicles that I eat at night for a snack – about 70 calories. So far I’ve dropped 26 pounds in 4 weeks. Progressing nicely!
Be honest, did you enjoy the McDonalds Southwest Chicken Salad video? Hopefully that’s the case! I was really happy to have brought it to.

Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
Therefore, once the choice has been made, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. It may just return you to the drawing board.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
What one diet plan doesn’t allow, a whole other plan completely allows. The grass always seems greener on the other side. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And one thing that’s clear… Recipe videos are often pretty damned will-shattering. 😉
Choose a lifestyle that you’re thrilled to stick with. That’s how long-term results will be achieved. Reaching your weight loss goals may be as simple as eating natural foods and limiting your caloric intake.
If you’re honest with yourself, I’m sure you’ll see the merit in that. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Add some exercise into the mix and look out!
It’s the most popular weight loss model in existence. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!
