Low Carb and Sugar Free Lemon Meringue Pie

Diet plans clearly abound. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
That’s why I believe that, when a particular diet has been chosen, and it’s time to start prepping weight loss meals, you need to adhere to your chosen diet plan. It can really hinder your success to stray from your chosen path. You very well may wind up starting all over.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
I cannot overstate how important this is.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself, which is why I bring this up. And there’s really only one reason why…
That which one eating plan prevents you from consuming, some other eating plan fully allows, and perhaps even encourages. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And let’s tell the truth here. Food-based videos can oftentimes be pretty damned will-shattering. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
This is clearly conventional wisdom. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!

3 cups of Almond Flour
2 tablespoons of no calorie sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
4 tablespoons of cold, unsalted butter
1 large cold egg
2 1/4 cups of water
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1/2 of arrowroot powder
2 egg whites
1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon zest
1 1/2 cups of zero calorie sugar
3 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
2/3 cup of no calorie sweetner
Mix all dry ingrediants until well combined.
Rub the butter into the dry ingredients until completely blended.
Add in the egg and mix well until a dough forms
Spray the pie pan with cooking oil and place pie dough into the pie tin in a even layer
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes
Beat eggs, 2 egg whites and lemon zest in medium bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups of no calorie sweetner in two parts. Set off to the side.
Combine water, lemon juice and arrowroot powder in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
Stir the arrowroot powder mixture into egg mixture. Return all to saucepan.
Cook for about 1 more minute
Set off to the side
Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy.
Then add in zero calorie sweetner and beat until you get stiff peaks
Pour filling into the cooled pie crust and spread the meringue on the top.
When the top of the pie is covered with meringue, use your spoon to make small peaks.
Place the pie in a 425 degree oven for 5 minutes until the meringue turns golden.
