LOW CARB BLACK FOREST CAKE || CAN BE KETO!
Who doesn’t love a black forest cake now and then? It’s one of my FAVOURITES. This will be one of my last dessert dishes for a while I think and why not end it with a delicious and creamy treat!
Now you’re probably thinking, “are cherries keto?”.. Well, thats debatable and a reason why I chose to name this video Low Carb instead of keto friendly.
Here’s the deal – 100g of cherries contain only 12 carbs. Not that bad right? Especially when you see how many cherries equal 100g.. It’s actually pretty good.
Hi there! I really hope that you were happy with the LOW CARB BLACK FOREST CAKE video. I’m glad to share it with you. I’d definitely like to make it myself!

Clearly, there are many diet plans in the world. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
That’s why I believe that, the moment you’ve decided on a particular diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It’ll probably return you to the very beginning.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
You’re going to usually crave whichever foods your current plan won’t let you consume, which a completely different plan totally permits. It’s always super tempting to dabble. And let’s not BS ourselves. Food videos are, in many cases, pretty damned seductive. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. At the end of the day, eating healthy foods and not going into a crazy caloric surplus may be enough to help you reach your goals.
Makes sense. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is conventional weight loss advice. And it’s for good reason that it is!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
I Think You Should Do THIS…

What you will need:
1/2 cup (115g) sour cream
3 tbsp dark cocoa powder
2 tbsp regular cocoa powder
1/4 cup (60ml) water (or heavy cream if you want)
1/4 cup (50g) sugar substitute (I used erythritol)
1/2 cup (100g) melted butter
2 cups (200g) almond flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup (118ml) heavy cream
1/4 cup (50g) sugar substitute
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tub (250g) mascarpone cheese
3/4 cup (100g) cherries – pitted
Sugar free chocolate sauce (optional)
In a mixing bowl, whisk the cake ingredients together in the order they appear on the list above.
Separate the batter in two and pour each half into two separate lined or greased 6-inch cake pans. Bake at 350 for approximately 20-25 minutes.
While your cakes are baking, using a stand or hand mixer, beat your heavy cream, sugar substitute and vanilla until the cream forms stiff peaks.
Slowly fold in your mascarpone cheese until it’s mixed thoroughly. Put the icing in the fridge until your cakes are done and have cooled down.
Once they are cool, pipe a layer of frosting onto the top of one of the cakes. Drop a few cherries into the icing before gently placing the second layer on top.
Top with the rest of your icing, sugar free chocolate sauce and cherries!
This makes approximately 12 slices.
