There are like a million and one diet plans available to you these days. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!
As such, the moment you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Wavering could be detrimental to your weight loss success. It’ll probably have you returning to the beginning.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So if you’re going low-carb, then build up a low-carb recipe library.
It’s basic, but hugely important.
I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
What one program prevents you from consuming, some totally different plan totally permits. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s be honest here. Food videos can be pretty darn difficult to resist. 😉
If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.
At the end of the day, it makes sense. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.
It’s common-sense weight loss. There’s probably good reason for this!
Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And you may not want to play around with those.
Stick to the plan. Give yourself a fighting chance!

Thank you for being with me here!
1 bag mini sweet peppers, seeded & halved
2 cans shredded chicken (leftover rotisserie chicken can also be used)
1/4 cup mayo (we used a sugar free variety)
3 tbsp buffalo wing sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheese
1/4 cup Green onions, diced
Once you have all your mini sweet peppers cut in half, and seeded, line them up on a plate, ready for loading up!
Mix your chicken, mayo & buffalo wing sauce together. Spoon into the pepper boats!
Enjoy as is – or level up! Place all the buffalo chicken peppers onto a baking sheet, and top with shredded cheese and green onions. Broil for 3-5 minutes on HIGH until the cheese is melted to your liking.
Drizzle with additional buffalo sauce. Serve up, and store extras in the fridge!
