Low carb Chicken Quesadilla Recipe . Just in ‘quesadilla’ you need a quick and simple idea for dinner, we came up with this super healthy, super yummy Mexican favourite that is low carb and high in protein!

There are simply far too many potential diet plans out there. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.

Therefore, once a particular diet has been chosen, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. You may very well wind up needing to start all over.

You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…

Food and beverages that one diet program doesn’t allow you to consume, a totally different program 100% allows, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And let’s not kid ourselves. Cooking videos are, in many cases, ridiculously difficult to resist. 😉

Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.

Makes sense to me. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

This is surely conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!

Not all diets are calorically restrictive though. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.

4 crepes
1 cup chicken breast, cooked and diced
1/2 cup sweet peppers (red, yellow, etc.), diced
1/4 cup red onion, diced
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded/grated (in a large bowl)
1 Tbsp. avocado oil
1 1/3 scoops Natural Nutralean


Frying pan method:

In a cast iron skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat.

Add chicken and veggies to heated oil/pan and fry until lightly browned.

Sprinkle 1/3 scoop of Natural Nutralean over ingredients in the pan and mix until evenly coated.

Transfer cooked ingredients from pan to large bowl.

Add 1 scoop of Natural Nutralean to shredded cheese and mix together until cheese is evenly coated.

Spray a non-stick pan with olive oil cooking spray and add one tortilla to pan.

Spread cheese evenly over one side of the tortilla, then chicken & veggie mixture, then add more cheese over veggies.

Fold empty side of the tortilla in half, over ingredients and pat with a spatula, cook until golden brown.
Flip folded tortilla to other side and continue cooking until golden brown.

– OR –

Oven method:

Place stuffed, folded tortillas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes, flipping at the midway point until browned on both sides.
Cut cooked quesadillas in half. Serve with Greek yogurt and/or salsa, if desired.
