There are obviously many diet plans in the world. If you’re like me, you’re probably overwhelmed by all of the options.
I believe that the moment you’ve made your choice, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You’re quite likely to end up in the frustrating position of starting all over from scratch.
You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
This is extremely important.
In the past, I’ve definitely hopped from one thing to the next… like crazy. Why did I do this? Only one reason…
You most often develop cravings for those foods and drinks that your specific program doesn’t let you consume, which an entirely different diet plan permits, and perhaps even encourages. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? And counter-arguments can be pretty compelling. And let’s make no mistake about it… Food-based videos are, in many cases, quite tough to resist. 😉
But the thing is, for any diet plan to work effectively, you really need to stick to it. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
It’s the most popular weight loss model in existence. And this is for good reason!
Calorie reduction isn’t the only game in town though. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And it’s generally not advised to mess around with those, if you’re trying to maximize your weight loss.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
