some quick easy healthy recipes so a lot of times in the new year people are wanting to go on these extreme cleanses to detox their bodies and my favorite way to help my body cleanse every day on a daily basis is to consume lots of fresh we’ll whole foods that are packed with vitamins and minerals and nutrients and antioxidants like all of the ingredients in our recipes today so let’s get started with today’s video I’m going to share with you how to make three quick and healthy detox smoothies our first recipe is a lemon ginger and blueberry smoothie featuring organic sweet vanilla bean plant-based protein powder to make this recipe you will need water banana ice frozen blueberries or gaines vanilla bean protein powder ginger and fresh squeezed lemon juice add all of your ingredients into a high speed blender blend for 20 to 30 seconds and then enjoy [Music] now let’s chat about some of the nutrition highlights of the ingredients in this recipe ginger may help to improve digestion blood circulation improve brain function and ginger is also great for reducing menstrual pain or cramps lemons are known for their cleansing and detoxing properties and blueberries are loaded with antioxidants and fiber organs plant-based protein powder adds 21 grams of protein next we’re making a creamy orange tumeric smoothie you will need water a navel orange peeled and segmented a banana peeled of course ice or gaines vanilla bean protein powder tumeric freshly ground pepper and coconut oil add all of your ingredients into a high speed blender blend for 20 to 30 seconds and then enjoy so now let’s chat about some of the nutritional highlights for this smoothie recipe tumeric contains a compound known as curcumin which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects this is beneficial because inflammation is a precursor for many age-related and diet related diseases it’s best to consume turmeric with black pepper which contains compounds that help the body absorb curcumin oranges are patched with the immune boosting antioxidant vitamin C as well as fiber coconut oil also contains healthy fats which may help the body better absorb the nutrients from turmeric and of course our organ plant-based protein powder which is adding 21 grams of protein to this smoothie finally our third detox smoothie is a green smoothie that you’re actually going to want to trink to make this big green smoothie you will need water and avocado ice or gaynes vanilla bean plant-based protein powder raw local honey spinach and parsley add all of your ingredients into a high speed blender blend for 20 to 30 seconds and then enjoy that smoothie [Music] some of the nutritional highlights of this smoothie include avocados add healthy omega-3 fats to the smoothie a type of fat that is known to support brain and heart health raw local honey is also great because it has antibacterial properties and if you don’t care for honey you can just use stevia instead spinach and parsley are nutrient powerhouses packed with fiber calcium and iron and of course our organ plant-based protein powder which adds 21 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber to the smoothie so that’s it GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE FOR WEIGHT LOSS | Easy & Healthy Breakfast Ideas!

in this video I’m going to be sharing my green detox smoothie recipe for losing weight this recipe has helped me to lose 40 pounds and has become one of my favorite weight loss breakfast recipes hey guys it’s diesel Jane today I’m going to show you how to make my absolute favorite go-to green smoothie recipe absolutely love this recipe up and making it for a couple of years now and it’s really simple and easy to make this recipe is completely dairy free gluten free and sugar free so it’s really healthy and also contains good carbs healthy protein and good fats as well so I’m really excited to show you how to make it let’s get started [Music] the first ingredient that I like to add to my green smoothie is one medium banana this makes the smoothie sweet and creamy and also adds healthy carbs if you don’t like banana though you can also use mango about 1 cup of chopped up mango that also goes really nicely with this recipe and you can use fresh or frozen next I’m adding some fresh cucumber 1/2 – 1 cup peeled and chopped this makes the smoothie really refreshing I love cucumber then I’ll add 1/3 of an avocado for some healthy fats this will help to make the smoothie even creamier and will help to keep you fuller for longer but if you don’t like avvocato you can also use about 2/3 of a cup of full cream plain yogurt I sometimes use plain coconut yogurt it’s a great dairy free yogurt option but you can use plain dairy yogurt if you do eat dairy and then a handful of washed baby spinach you can hardly taste baby spinach in a smoothie not like if you were to use other leafy greens like Swiss chard or kale and it adds a lot of fiber and nutrients these four ingredients are my green smoothie essentials especially the banana the avocado and the baby spinach and with that is the smoothie base you can mix and match the rest of the ingredients now I’m adding 2 tablespoons of dry whole rolled oats this actually also helps to make the smoothie creamy and it adds really good whole carbs this is actually one of my favorite smoothie ingredients for staying fuller for longer – then this is one of the best ingredients this adds a really good protein some holy fat and fiber – I’ve mixed two teaspoons of chia seeds with about 6 teaspoons of water and have left it to soak for a few minutes before adding it to my smoothie this helps to make the chia seeds digestible and then for an extra dose of protein I like to add one tablespoon of and Sweden almond butter this is another ingredient that will help to keep me full of lunga and it’s really important to have protein with breakfast I also sometimes add 1 TSP of cold-pressed coconut oil to most movies this also adds healthy fats it’s important to eat whole carbs protein and good fats even if you’re trying to lose weight they’re all healthy and then this is totally optional but you can also add some spirulina or chlorella powder this adds really good protein too I sometimes add 1/2 to 1 TSP then about 1/2 to 1 cup of water or coconut water coconut water adds a little touch of extra sweetness to the smoothie and actually helps to restore electrolytes to the body but plain water works fine for the maybe two and then just blend it all up now I’m going to add a few ice cubes to make it chilled and blend it up again quickly and now my green smoothie is ready and it’s really creamy and delicious and so full of healthy nutrients this is one of my favorite breakfast recipes for losing weight and for when I’m doing a detox this recipe served one and depending on what you choose to add to your green smoothie from the ingredients that I showed you in this video the calories per serving will be anywhere from 220 if you just add the four essential ingredients and up to four hundred and sixty if you add all of the ingredients that I showed you but you can mix and match to suit your needs I’ll put a link below this video to a full calorie breakdown for you thanks so much for watching this video I really hope you enjoyed it and I hope you enjoyed making my absolute favorite go-to green smoothie recipe with me if you want to see more recipe videos then give this a thumbs up and I’m also going to put the full recipe over on my blog so you can go check that out there if you want to I’m going to put a link to that below this video okay thank you so much for watching I’ll see you soon [Music] you [Music]
