[Music] what’s up guys welcome back to my channel today’s video is going to be on my top 10 tips tricks hacks on weight loss so this is pretty much what I’ve learned throughout my weight loss journey and just things that have really worked for me that hopefully work for you so I’m going to try to get through these as quickly as possible if you are new to my channel click that subscribe button would be to stop worrying about the number on the scale so this was something I struggled with right off the bat in my weight loss journey because I was literally so excited that I was weigh myself every single morning to see if I had lost any weight but the problem is that there is a lot of things that can go into that and you can be gaining water weight you can be gaining muscle mass which weighs more than fat while still burning and losing fat and you can weight more than you did before so it can be very discouraging and your motivation levels will go down if you start seeing the number on the scale go up so instead I’ve always recommended that you guys use a measuring tape but I also came across this new gadget that vanity planet actually reached out to me to see if I wanted these foods are very high in fiber which is going to fill you up and also keep you fuller for longer while also helping with your digestive system because they are very easy to digest so these foods include like oats legumes fruits and vegetables and pretty much anything that is high in fiber so my tip number three is probably one of the most unnoticed weight loss mistakes so if you are a big soda and fruit juice drinker even Gatorade what you’re not noticing is that you’re consuming anywhere from a hundred to four hundred calories per drink and around 50 grams of carbs and sugars in those drinks so right there if you ask me I much rather have like a chocolate bar or some gummies and eat my sugars rather than drink my sugars so stay away from sodas completely and fruit juices like super sugary fruit juices and swap them out for of course water because you can’t beat water you can also have a kind of tea and you can also have lemon or fruit infused waters so sometimes I like to add a little bit of that carbonated water and it gives me that like really bubbly taste and then I just add some lime or lemon or even some cucumbers strawberries blackberries to my water and it tastes like fruit water and a little bit sweet but you’re not consuming all those sugars and processed additives that they add to those sodas and along with that I would recommend having one glass of water before every meal so when I say before I mean anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes before your meal I wouldn’t say right before because you can mess around with that acidity in your stomach and your stomach needs those acids to break down those foods so if you would drink a lot of water right before your meal or during your meal then you’re only kind of slowing down that breakdown process so try to drink it 20 to 30 minutes before and always keep a water bottle around you so my tip number 4 is to hit the gym and hit those weights so don’t go and become a cardio bunny and just sit at the elliptical for two hours because right there you’re just burning out but I’m saying do bodyweight exercises or just simple weights if you’re just starting off if you begin to lift weights and do strength exercises you’re going to build more muscle mass which is going to help increase your metabolism and burn a lot more fat even if you’re just at a resting state so therefore whatever you do if you have more muscle you’re going to be burning a lot more calories and a lot more fat so remember to hit those weights they’re not going to make you bulky they’re not going to make you manly if you eat the right stuff now tip number five is to create cutoff times as far as meals and foods so for example I like to cut off fruits and high carb foods by 3:00 p.m. most of the time unless I’m doing like a very heavy leg day and I want to just go really high on my carbs but I like to cut them out because most likely after 3 p.m. I’m going to be more calm and probably on my house just hanging out because I already worked out in the morning and I’m not going to be able to burn all those calories and carbs and sugars by the end of the day so I like to have them in the morning so that they feel me for my workout or for pretty much my entire day and I like to have them either for breakfast and lunch and then by 3:00 p.m. cut them off and I like to also have a pretty early dinner so try to do dinner around anywhere from 6 to 8 the latest depending on how let you go to sleep and what works with your schedule but try to not eat anything after 8 p.m. tip number six is to always stock up on healthy snacks so I’m somebody who’s always home because I pretty much work from home and I’m always editing videos on the computer or doing schoolwork on the computer or even filming so the fact that I have my kitchen just a few steps away from me is a problem because I always want to be snacking so make sure that when those cravings kick in and you just want to have something you have something healthy to get that craving out some healthy snacks that I like to have our cucumbers with lime some carrots you can even have a little bit of hummus sometimes I also make myself a salad with a lot of veggies or even some fruits like strawberries or berry something not too high in sugars and also if you are talking about a much much worse craving for like chocolate just swap it out for some dark chocolate and make sure that it’s like a real dark chocolate that it’s not like super processed so tip number seven would be to stop eating out and start buying your own food and cooking it at home this is going to be essential for your weight loss journey because if you’re eating out as healthy as a place may seem you don’t know exactly what they are putting into your food so they can say grilled chicken but they can be adding a lot of stuff to that chicken as far as seasoning oils or just the way that they cook it or even where they get their chicken you really just don’t know so it’s better if you just cook it at home it helped me a lot when I started meal prepping so just keep that in mind and I know that it’s not possible to like never eat out and I personally eat out pretty often but when I do I make sure I modify whatever it is that I’m eating so for example when I go to a taco place most of the time at this taco place I just get the bowl that they have it’s a salad bowl so it’s pretty much the same chicken that they would put in the taco but they put it on top of a spring mix salad and they still add the avocado cilantro tomatoes onions and everything it just doesn’t have the tortilla and well the fried tortilla which it’s kind of the most fatty and carb full part of the taco so just ask for modifications restaurants are pretty lenient about this so if you see that they have a fried chicken just ask for it grilled or if you want to get a salad make sure you don’t get any Caesar blue cheese or ranch dressings even some vinaigrettes can be very high in carbs so just make sure that you ask for no dressing and you just ask for some balsamic vinegar or a little bit of olive oil and lemon and that way you’re not consuming all of your calories in a dressing tip number eight is to continue to learn and educate yourselves this is what helped me the mole because everything that I am telling you guys through my videos I’ve learned on my own through my fitness journey and also through everything that I’ve researched and the books that I’ve read and just from personal experience because you always have to keep educating yourself whether that is through a fitness magazine or a diet or fitness blog there’s people on YouTube who are also certified and have a lot of great information just take a notepad and start writing it down some like good points that you don’t want to forget and even just Google like anything that I don’t know effort I just Google Google will give you a great answer you can’t believe everything that you read but for the most part it’s always good to know like as much information as possible about the things that you’re eating and just really educate and become more knowledgeable about the food that you’re going to be consuming for the rest of your life because if you can have a healthy body and you can feel good like to me there’s no better gift in life than that so take care of your body and just be more knowledgeable about the foods that you’re consuming so tip number nine is to stay occupied this is something that I am so guilty of because since I’m always home I always want to be eating so when I’m home I always try to just do like a random spa day or um I decide to paint my nails paint my toes or do a hair treatment whatever it is that’s going to keep you occupied do it because if you are distracted and you’re occupied doing something chances are you’re not going to be worried about eating especially because sometimes I have like the hungriest of days and I literally just can’t stop eating I just grab Olli put his leash on and I go for a walk and I sit at the dog park and I’m like I’m going to sit here for an hour because this hunger is gonna make me literally binge eat everything in my sight so just make sure that you’re always doing something pick up a hobby knitting a drawing painting doing your nails whatever it is that you need to do but stay occupied and my tip number 10 would be to join a gym so this can be any kind of gym you can go to a boot camp class type of gym a boxing gym Pilates yoga whatever it is that keeps you motivated and that you enjoy doing join this helps because when you get a membership most likely it’s going to be for like a year and if you pay for it with your hard-earned money chances are you’re gonna go whether you want to or not you’re gonna go because you don’t want that money to go to waste so working out is great for weight loss and for me personally when I joined the gym it just helped me out so much because it keeps my schedule on track so for me I go to Legacy fit in Wynwood in Miami which I have spoken to you guys for the longest time about I’ve been going there for almost two years and I absolutely love it why because there’s classes from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at night so whatever my schedule might be that day I know if I can’t make it in the morning which is when I normally go I will make it in the afternoon no matter what there’s a class for me and there’s a class for anybody because no matter what time you work chances are you’re going to be able to make it to one of those classes so for me it’s very important to have a schedule and kind of set goals for myself for the week and because I don’t work outside of my house I don’t have like a time that I need to get to work or a time that I need to get to school because I’m doing online and I’m working from home so for me my workouts are what get me up in the morning so I could choose to wake up at 11 or 12 p.m. because I don’t really have to start working at any time of the day but because my bootcamp class is at 9:00 a.m. I make sure I wake up at 7:30 every morning and I get to my workout class and my day is started right there no matter if I get 2 hours of sleep 6 hours of sleep or 10 hours of sleep I’m there at the class and that just kind of keeps a routine and a balanced lifestyle and I make sure that no matter what I have going on during the day if I get just one hour of my day to get to the gym I got it out of the way and then I can do whatever I want with my date like that’s pretty much a must for me and when you join a gym membership I feel like it helps you do that especially if it’s like a group class like the boot camp that I go to because the people will just motivate you or you can make friends or you can go with friends you can go with family anything that you want but just it’s a good environment for anybody that’s trying to like keep themselves motivated and I just absolutely love it so if you do live in the Miami area I even think they have one in South Carolina I’m not sure so I need people in South Carolina and I know they just open one in Dubai which is crazy but I will leave all the information to my gym here because I absolutely love it and it’s just amazing it’s called Legacy fit you can find them on Instagram at no days off and yes we actually have classes from Monday through Sunday so literally no days off and hey guys and welcome back to my youtube channel today’s video I’m going to be giving you my top tips to lose weight and be healthy these to me seem really basic but you know I do realize that some people are just starting out their journey or they haven’t done any research or they’re just so overwhelmed with so many programs and experts and youtubers and instagramers and personal trainers everywhere I know because I was once there it’s just like whoa where do I begin so I’m going to try and break it down today so you guys can just go okay these are simple steps that I can do and I can achieve and I can put in place it’s not too overwhelming you don’t have to cut out everything and just eat chicken and broccoli and you know run 22 kilometres a day that’s not what I’m about I just want to give you some basic steps to kickstart you and give you a little bit of energy and a little bit of motivation to maybe take the next step after that so here’s a couple of my favourite just basic tips that will really help you I think if you’re just beginning in your journey or you fell off the bandwagon you’re like oh I just don’t know where to start so here goes number one go into your cupboard get a big garbage bag and get rid of the crap I know that you’re like what I’m going to do with it just throw it out take it to a women’s shelter or a homeless shelter but get rid of your process crap if it’s not in your house and you’re starving you’ve only got fresh healthy ingredients you’re going to settle for that well unless you go and driving a takeout but overall if it’s not in your cupboard you don’t think about it I know myself if there’s chocolate or something sweet unhealthy in my cupboard I don’t know it’s there I eat it there’s leftover birthday cake I eat it it’s it’s there it’s screaming at me but if it’s not a new cupboard or your fridge then it’s a lot less likely that you’re going to actually consume it so do a big clean-out and start fresh number two start walking and no walking doesn’t feel like you’re doing a lot but it has so many benefits and it’s so good for your body on in the morning on an empty sky is the best time of day to do it to burn fat okay so if you can do this five to seven times a week you will notice massive changes in your bodies within a couple of weeks plus getting out in the fresh air it just doesn’t into your mind for me if I don’t start my day with a walk I just find I’m a little bit more stressing or not anxious but a bit more on edge let’s start the day with a walk moving my body moving energy and being in the fresh air I’m so much more happier I’m so much more motivated to eat well I’m so much more clearer with my thinking honestly trust me on this and it’s low-impact if you haven’t exercised in years or you’ve just had a baby or you’ve got a lot of weight to lose and you’re not quite ready to start an intense program or go into a gym just get walking I recommend minimum four to five minutes but the longer you walk the better obviously don’t go walking five hours you know what I mean if you can walk for an hour a day honestly one of the best tips I can do and it’s so easy it’s no pressure on your joints you can put music in you can put a podcast in or you can just enjoy the chirping birds get on it number three as soon as you get up always have a big glass of water personally I like to have warm want warm water with a wedge of lemon squeezed into it when you’ve been sleeping at night your body is so dehydrated so this just helps to one hydrate you get rid of some toxins and get things moving for the day if you know what I mean yeah I’m talking about it works it just helps to get things you know flushed out and moving right it also sets up if it’s warm it helps to set up your digest it I could never say that word your digestive system okay so I have five hundred mils that actually bought a glass that is five hundred mils so every single morning without a doubt I have that if you just have a cup that’s fine just have water in the morning and pop a bit of lemon in there number four have some type of plan it doesn’t need to be strict it doesn’t need to be too detailed but you need some sort of plan and goals in place have short term goals and long term so the short term ones are really there for you so each week that you can kind of fist palm them be like yes I would something and that kind of helps keep you motivated to keep going because weight loss in general is most the time it’s a long hard emotional journey and if you just set one long-term goal and it’s over here and here’s your starting position you take a little step it’s like oh it feels like it’s so far away to reach but if you’ve got those little goals that you’re achieving along the way that really helps you and motivates you to keep going and without a plan you’re kind of just like winging it and you need to have some sort of idea of what you’re doing and when you’re doing it so whether it’s committing to three or four walks a week it’s committing to your water and it’s committing to making sure that you have at least one meal with a whole plate of vegetable I don’t know whatever you want to do just make sure you have some sort of plan and direction to help you get towards your goal number five this one is really important I find especially working with females I’m guessing most of you following are females grab a buddy an accountability buddy someone to do with you so I want to support you if you don’t have someone that’s where a program comes in really handy if you can get face-to-face that’s awesome when you have classes you get to chat with trainers and other girls going through the same thing if you don’t have a gym if you’re in a remote area or you can’t afford a gym get an online program but an online program that provides support and obviously that’s something that we provide in all of my programs so we have forums where you get to speak with trainers that I put in there I’m in all of them as well so I touch base with everyone and just find having someone to talk to and understand what you’re going through with it with girls that just pose like I’ve having such a hard day I feel like giving up and all of a sudden there’s like 20 girls jumping on there giving them reasons not to giving them tips and just showing them a bit of love I find that is so important because I don’t know we all just have days we want to give up we all have days where it’s a bit harder and to have like a backbone of support that just can pick you up again it’s it’s just key number six I find this one and you can speak with another health professional or someone at a health food store or a naturopath but I would say most people have not done a full core of probiotics in a long time we get prescribed antibiotics and so many medications and pills and things that totally destroy our gut lining and good health starts with good gut health and getting doing a full course on probiotic just puts that good bacteria back in our gut and that helps our food to digest it helps our widens to be absorbed it helps our skin it helps our energy there’s so many reasons to have good gut health and doing a full a full course of probiotics is something I feel most people need to do every now and again so if you haven’t done it before go and speak to a health professional at the health food store most of the fineries on the gold crows have naturopaths in there or go and spoke in with an itch path and do a bit of research into it but I advise and I feel like most people would need it that’s something that you know really helps number 7 they say it takes three weeks to break a habit I say for a good solid month you’re going to be a little bit unbalanced but commit to this no alcohol no deep-fried takeaway foods so McDonald’s KFC Hungry Jack’s Pizza Hut all that kind of stuff and refined sugars really try to cut all three of those out pros like white breads and passes and candies and cakes and soft drinks all the obvious things that you know an awkward for you just commit to a month I’m not saying it’s going to be easy but you will feel the biggest difference in your body your bloat will go your skin will feel and look better you’ll just have more energy or have my motivation you’ll honestly feel like a new person you won’t have a hangover you ain’t just constantly feeling like I think some people forget how good they can feel because they’re so used to feeling like crap so for a month just promise me now from today commit that no alcohol no deep fried takeaway foods and refined processed sugars okay you got this number eight this one’s kind of optional but I find it’s the best way to track your progress is to take before-and-after photos they can be pretty confronting when you see a photo of yourself in a brown undies or bikinis you’re like oh my god like I didn’t realize where I am now like how did that happen it can be confronting but it’s also like a good kick like hard truth in your face like exactly where you’re at scales are really good like numbers but I find girls get really fixated on numbers and your body shape can be changing and things can be changing and someone’s the numbers don’t reflect that and then that can be really do motivating with taking photos the camera doesn’t lie you can physically see what’s changing what needs improving and I just think it’s the best way to track your progress that’s optional but I find it really helpful and really motivating number nine my last and final tip but definitely not the least don’t give up you’re going to have days where you’re like stuff this this is too hard I could do it I feel I just don’t want to do it like there’s going to be days like that I’m not going to lie to you but don’t give up or if you have a meal and it wasn’t on your plan or you felt bloated and crap after because it was a plate that wasn’t very good for you just move on you get straight back on the bandwagon get straight back on the horse and start again we’re not even starting again just continuing on one bad meal is not gonna undo all think it’s a plan undo all of your hard work just like one good meal is not going to get you in shape it’s your consistent actions that gives you a result if you’re consistently eating like crap and consistently not moving and consistently talking to yourself in a tone and language that pushes up put you down you’re consistently going to feel down and depressed and sad and crap if you consistently choose healthy meals if you consistently speech yourself like you do your best friend which is most likely really nicely and with a lot of love you consistently move your body you’re going to consistently feel good and look detox water recipes for weight loss

everyone welcome back to my channel so today we have my first installment of fit Fridays so today we’re gonna talk about my favorite detox water recipes that I’ve been using a ton lately so this is the first one and I like to drink this before I have breakfast just to start my metabolism so I start with 33 ounces of water a single lemon and half of an orange and you guys can really modify this to be any way you like but I just really like this so I’m just slicing up my fruit just how you normally would obviously be really careful with your knife I was kind of being pretty careless here but be sure to be careful with that I’m just wedging the lemon try not to cut it too much because the more you cut it the less nutrients you get and then I’m just taking all of my cut-up fruit and just sticking it in the water you don’t have to use a glass door and you don’t have to use this much water again really modify this to make it however you want you can make a huge picture of it and just double up on all the fruit or you can make way less however much you’re gonna want and I try to consume this within an hour just because of the amount of sugar in the water recipe number two so I like to start with frozen blueberries and take a quarter cup and stick those in the water you can use fresh ones I just like frozen because they act like ice cubes to keep my water cold and then I am just taking a half of a lemon and sticking that in here all right and then I’m just adding a few drops of lime and then that is that finished recipe and I really like it because it gives a nice fresh taste but you don’t have to add that and then the final recipe is probably my favorite one I like to take about eight or ten slices of cucumber and stick them in my water you can put more or less depending on how much you like or dislike cucumbers and then I’m taking about eight or nine strawberries chopping these up and putting them in the water and again just be conscious of how much you’re chopping them up try not to like chop them up completely because again the more that you chop them the less nutrients the less good stuff you’re gonna get your water and then I’m just takin all that stuff that I just chopped and throwing it in there and then I also ripped up a few mint leaves about three or four minutes and just stuck them in there because I really like the taste of mint but yeah that’s pretty much that recipe so those are my favorite detox water recipes I hope you guys enjoyed this if you have any more fit Friday’s you’d like to see just let me know down below and I’ll be happy to do them thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you back here later

gonna tell everyone how much weight I actually lost to make this video actually more interesting since you know what so today I’m going to talk about how I lost weight and how I went from this to this before our last week when I actually let people know what my weight was I was a good 95 kilo dozen maybe more just 202 pounds and I reduced myself into 55 kilos which is 121 pounds basically I lost 40 kilos which is like any pounds Before we jump to conclusions that I lost 88 pounds in a very short time I can also say that I lost 59 pounds actually in a matter of five months five to six months the rest can became slower as your body gets used to doing the same routine all the time so it reacts slowly so basically I want to start with the good stuff right now pingzhi came forward out of my speech I want to talk about how I went from a size I was 18 to 22 to a sigh it’s almost between 4 to 7 sometimes between stores it flavors but yeah I just want everyone to know that there was no exercise at all no running no walking no [Music] no dancing either no benching no starving no aerobics um so basically I didn’t follow any diet plans anything no program no copying off the internet no Bigfoot little foot medium foot diet XS I should die plan I don’t know I’d follow anything like that let’s get down to the basics the real steps are than watching me rule number one see how beautiful these are see how get rid of your do not eat chocolate get rid of the Twix get rid of the candy get rid of all of it do not go anywhere next two things that have sugar do not eat what your grandma made for your birthday and do not cheat and go into your friends lunchbox I need her piece of chocolate donut you nasty basically do not eat anything with sugar sugar is actually bad and these products are there to kill you stay away from these unhealthy products the people who make them not care about how much weight you put on and what diseases come with what weight you put on I don’t know if that was mean but I suffer from some stuff because I was overweight so so yeah after you’re done with number one and you fish staying away from your mother’s pie and now sugars you can go next to our sugars are healthy for you sugar is like Apple Apple contains sugar and so do all the other foods like banana and apple strawberry grape blackberry blueberry oranges and also other things that have sugar which is good for you is high some people say honey can we keep it on faith but no you have to choose a direct honey and actually see what you’re buying not just by applying ly not all honey actually contains sugar now there are certain types of natural god-given food I actually had a lot of ingredients that you know that helps you lose weight number one the best best thing you can invest in is this food called mmm pineapple pineapple is so so good for you it has natural acid inside it that helps collaborate with their acids in your stomach and in mixes and makes your digestive system more and more healthy and more vast it makes you digest your food really quickly and also help with the metabolism another very good national media that helps to lose weight which is also as prunes honey and lemon it helped me to the core what you do is that you have it three times a day I used to have four but that’s only after my body said getting used to it what green tea does is that it speeds up your metabolism you wouldn’t want that’s better let’s say the bathroom becomes your friend after that what you want to do is when you go to college work or school at this before you go this will start off here more it’s a good energizer it’s good for detox and metabolizes you do that’s that you can you can say that other good for your metabolism think about green tea is that don’t have it on an empty stomach only in the morning that’s acceptable but on the other parts of the day a bit half an hour to one hour after every meal because first you want your body’s iMacs acid to digest your food and when it starts digesting your food then you take the green tea half an hour to one hour later and then it starts speeding up your metabolism so now everything is working together straight let’s get this out in the open clear and everything like that I used to eat four to five chicken legs from KFC out of day at least once a month but still now I don’t need KFC but if I did I would eat one or two you have to minimize your eating habit your stomach is this small if you pack it with the amount you eat which is obviously this much you’re cramping and making the walls expand the less you eat the more balanced to eat your stomach contracts and becomes back to its normal size you don’t want to keep expanding your stomach because then once you expand it and it’s expanding more you get less full with the more you eat making it expand slowly slowly slowly slowly after time until it disappears from the screen disappeared you wait too much mmm you really want to reduce your portions start eating stuff like salad pasta no pizza no burgers stay away from loads of Reds don’t include in your diet no rice things you can eat it’s real stuff like chicken grilled vegetables vegetables are good I’m not talking about French fries eat as many vegetables as you can I’m not telling you to become vegetarian eat chicken grilled chicken get eaten beef don’t have it soaking in gravy or barbecue sauce that is unhealthy you can eat sausages just don’t eat a lot of sausages sometimes you may get hungry your body I’m used to eating such less food this would be your version of cheating but cheating in a healthy way take food bars or yeah food bars you can have Kellogg’s hashey you’re gonna have anything just have it like a snack bar take it eat it did work eat it at home eat it during your snack time either during a movie popcorn is good too you also want to you want to snack on nuts if you want to snack more walnuts almonds pecans academia and all the other nuts that for peanuts don’t eat peanuts and definitely not peanut butter do not eat peanut butter if you want to eat peanut butter one teaspoon a day not more make sense and also another process is water I drink this before I go to bed every night because when you wake up all the toxins that you carry through the day at least in the you know we’re so water it’s a really good thing that you should have in your daily life whether you needed me to say that or not I really never believed in the eight glasses a day kind of thing I just drank this this water bottle throughout today I don’t know why I made a mess around this game don’t have a lot of dairy products I ice cream you can have frozen yogurt you can have both screams try to cut down on dessert anything that involves sweets cheese cheese can be really really really really fattening and you can really get on to your hips and if you’re a guy you will get hips not that uncle thing if you want to eat chocolate or dying on your last leg it’s like you’re surrounded in a desert I have nothing but a piece of chocolate that you’re craving I have dark chocolate that really helps because dark chocolate it has some nutrition facts that are good for you that’s some nutrients and if you’re really dying to have something that is awesome some biscuits for a snack like I just have biscuit glucose biscuit biscuit that do not include sugar on top sprinkles don’t cheat you’re only fooling yourself Oh cheap and one more thing if you have a good hungry to bully up like you know I said habit all the time and I loved it now here comes the uninteresting part counting calories an average woman is supposed to eat at least over 1,000 calories a day including males what I did was Benny sure I count a lot of my calories if I was eating a snack bar and that was 100 calories I made sure they in my head I knew what I was keeping count on you should always keep count of your calories things you should look out for in your nutritional facts I’m going to make this simple for you so umm sure you have your calories it’s 160 which is good the thing you want to stay out and look for is trends trans fat should not be over 8% sugars should not be over 12 grams or 9 grams that you could actually get products that way never take anything that is over 200 calories that is not good always look at your serving size and see if it’s worth it remember this about nutritional facts always look at the calories always look at the sugar always look at trans fats now that got that down so for me I lost a lot of weight after five months doing all of what I did right now now summarize everything I just said blonde green tea in the mornin green tea in the afternoon bun green tea in the evening honey and lemon with hot water in the night throughout the date fruit vegetables grilled chicken meat without heavy sauces snack on nutritional bars the only reason I know that this process will be effective is that my sister tried it and she lost 8 kilograms in a month she’s doing what I did and think is that I’m experienced in trying to lose weight from a long tile so did go to Fitness first and I did lose some weight like at first but then I had to move and it has you max s so I had to make my own diet plan so that’s basically part of the whole thing of how I lost weight I hope that whoever tries the green tea because that is the primary ingredient in this whole entire friggin weight loss thing I want people to tell me if they have seen result I saw a lot of results so I look like a mess for this video I’ve been out almost well now that I almost just died from a lemon seed let’s proceed with this video hey guys today we’re going to be learning 10 weight loss hacks for the new year to help you get in shape and achieve had a resolution that was health-related this year and one of my new year’s resolutions was to have Carrie Underwood’s legs I mean like physically had them like I’m not gonna like go cut them off in her sleep um though I did think about it but achieving the goddess miss that are her legs like can we just take like five seconds to appreciate that is one little motivator for me to get in shape and I wanted to look up some weird little hacks that you guys can try for weight loss or just getting healthy this season so so yeah let’s just go so studies have actually shown that coconut oil can aid in weight loss because it’s quickly absorbed into the body for energy and it’s not stored as fat and it can seem kind of scary if you don’t like coconut like me but it was actually pretty good so just consume one to two tablespoons a day No well we’re not doing the cinnamon challenge stop but we are going to be smelling some cinnamon because this increases your sense of alertness right before a workout and it kind of motivates and energizes you naturally instead of using caffeine which can later hinder you in weight loss now by saying exercise less here I mean for a shorter amount of time at a higher intensity don’t go on the elliptical for an hour do 15 minutes of crazy sweaty heartrate pounding exercise this is the best kind of exercise you can do for weight loss and there have been so many studies on it and these moves are not qualified so I will link below some actual experts and go check them out and do their HIIT workouts props to you if you’re actually going to do this one but if you have a warm shower for three minutes and cold for 30 seconds it actually relaxed and contracts your blood vessels which helps you sleep which gives you more energy and helps you lose weight it’s just me myself and I solo ride until I die cuz I got me so here’s another natural way to boost energy before a workout and to increase your metabolism it’s to massage your ears so if you’re not feeling up to it massage your ears and who would have thought that that would help you but it does there’s research behind it folks please remember that this video is called weird life hacks everyone I’m just as appalled as you are oh this one is my favorite chewing mint gum which is something I do frequently sometimes I actually feel like I’m addicted to chewing mint gum but I guess that’s a good thing because it increases your productivity it increases heart rate and blood flow to the brain and stimulates your nervous system so heck yeah you oh yeah so this is for all my fellow lazy girls out there lazy boys if you’re watching lazy boys like a recliner or people who enjoy horizontal running you know you can get a good workout while in bed or you know on the ground you can use pillows you can do a bunch of ab and leg exercises and stretches I do this all the time and then it’s easy access for when you’re tired and you want to stop and go to bed heck yes number eight is something I am NOT as into because I get very sensitive to spice but eating spicy foods helps increase your metabolism as well and no that doesn’t mean you can sit there and eat hot cheetos and lose weight you need to eat like hot peppers and hot healthy things you know got my BOB right now I love the tach because I love watching TV so ever commercial break do an exercise for that commercial break do squats for the full five minutes do push-ups for the full five minutes it’ll really just make your lazy time actually productive missed pretty much and lastly but not least we want to wake up with water every single day it’s such an easy step to add to your morning routine that will seriously help boost your metabolism if you have two glasses of ice-cold water every single morning I just realized how ugly Healthy Summer Diet Tips!

hi there hope you’re having a good week can you believe here we are in the middle of July summer is halfway over I don’t know where this season has gone but it is escaping us the kids are already stressing out thinking that school starts at the end of August I don’t know about you but I am still enjoying the summer months wanting to make the most of it and based on your comments and your feedback a lot of you have been asking about summertime exercise summer nutrition so I thought I would do a tutorial today on healthy summer eating that’ll have you both looking and feeling great and for me the key about summer is color I don’t know about you but when I go into a grocery store I get so joyful when I see just produce and color everywhere it is beautiful the color of the season is healthy it’s coming from the ground it is full of nutrients so my encouragement to you is to take advantage of the seasonal fruits and veggies and really incorporate them in your diet to live a very healthy lifestyle provide your body with the fiber that it needs the vitamins that it needs and really enjoy the beautiful taste of the season so what I’m going to lay out for you today really is a slice of life a day in the life of my diet the types of things that I normally eat and as I begin I will tell you that everything is very high fiber lean protein and healthy fats those to me are the ideal combinations for healthful living and it really accompanies a fitness lifestyle as well to be able to see the results that you’re working so hard for whether it’s in the gym for a run a bike ride whatever I have learned that diet and I don’t mean being on a diet I just mean healthy living and healthy food is about 90 percent of the equation when it comes to how everything is going to look on the outside so here we go my breakfast is an easy kiyul muffin I love the Ezekiel product line because it is sprouted grain there’s no flour in this and I enjoy the taste so much I always have it with an organic egg either easy over or sometimes hard-boiled on the muffin I’ll use Earth Balance spread which is a non GMO vegan product and again very high in taste I’m embarrassed to say I have this literally every day at 11 o’clock in the morning I am such a creature of habit it’s ridiculous but I enjoy the taste of this breakfast so much I just don’t deviate to me it has the right balance and the protein in the carbs and the fat and it just makes me happy so I think that’s the key as well stick with what makes you happy and what feels good when it comes to my morning snack again this is when I tap into that fabulous produce so enjoy all of the fruit and the things that you see in your grocery store for instance cherries are in right now so I always have a handful of cherries here in the house or blueberries or raspberries these are wonderful healthy snacks I try to have my sugar my fruit sugar in the morning because it gives me enough time throughout the day to be able to burn it off when I hit lunchtime again this is when I’m seeing lots of color in my food we always have a salad here in the house and it come it is comprised of romaine lettuce cherry tomatoes cilantro scallions bell pepper cucumber and we make our own vinaigrette dressing so we’ll do a combination of a balsamic vinaigrette with an oil and then I’ll throw in some stevia to sweeten the dressing instead of using sugar so this salad is a staple you can eat it by yourself or you can add some protein to it pop in some chicken or some grilled shrimp and shrimp and make that a meal but this particular week what I did was and I know this doesn’t seem like a typical summer meal but it helped my summer cold so I made a chicken soup and I boiled organic chicken with the bone because that’s where all the flavor and the good health comes from and I literally threw in every vegetable that lived in the refrigerator so take a look at this soup I mean this chicken soup has zucchini green beans carrots celery corn potato and even Brussels sprouts I threw it all in there and look at this what a high fiber chock full of vitamins soup this became so it made me feel better with my cold it gave me something more to open up my head and at the same time it provided me with tons of fiber and vitamins so that was a win-win in my book and what I love about a soup is it lasts for a long time in the refrigerator and then you can throw it in Tupperware bring it with you to work and heat it up in the microwave so this became a lunch a dinner and it lasted for a good four to five days my snack in the afternoon two things really and I bring both of these to the station I always have a stash in my drawer first of all I love roasted unsalted almonds these are from Whole Foods and what’s so nice about these is it’s a great healthy fat I love nuts nuts or a wonderful way to kind of tie you over between lunch and dinner it fills you with the right type of health that you’re looking for I sometimes I need that crunchy satisfaction so roasting the nut makes it even crunchy err and I will also throw in there my personal favorite popcorn its skinny pop and it is a full of fiber snack and what I love about this it’s non-gmo and gluten free so the skinny pop line they really care about the quality of the popcorn it’s a GMO free corn which is a biggie in my book and it is delicioso so one of my favorite snacks and that helps me until dinnertime and here we go I took a picture of my absolute favorite dinner during the summer I’m a huge fish lover and so I gravitate toward baked grilled or broiled fish this is a shot of a wonderfully herbed salmon with market vegetables again more produce more color and it’s healthy and it’s light and fish is just so great during the summertime and it’s that right balance you know at night time you want to minimize your simple carbohydrates and I don’t do the potatoes or any starch on the side and so this combination to me is very filling you can eat as many vegetables as you want so pile on those veggies enjoy a nice piece of fish and then throughout the day very importantly during the summer months don’t forget to hydrate drink lots and lots of water it’s hot out there here in Houston it has been 96 97 degrees every day feels like temperature is a hundred and two sure it’s exhausting so make sure you’re drinking a lot of water especially if you’re exercising and my little secret here at the very end if you really want to get those results I always say I’ve said this before in one of my videos minimize the whites and I mean the sugar the flour the dairy and the sodium if you can minimize that you will see profound changes in your physical self which is what you want as you work out hard and you try to make those fitness goals you want to look the part as well so those things really have a way of whittling you down quickly and helping you get the results that you’re looking for so as we enjoy our for 12 years I’ve never been like one of those skinny kind of catwalk style models but I’ve done kind of loads of lingerie and things like that so I’ve got quite a curvy figure I’m slim obviously but I’ve never been runway thin so that’s not what this is about if you want that kind of video then you’re in the wrong place if you want to know what I do to stay slim have a healthy diet have a good attitude towards my diet then this video is for you so I just want to clear that up so before anyone leaves some stupid comment about models being teasing or whatever then I’m just not interested That’s not me there’s nothing to do with me and that’s not why I’m about so Wow way to go start the video off on a really positive note but I feel like I’ve got to say that in the beginning there’s lots of people comment before they’ve even watched a whole video and it really really irritates me and also is something so sensitive as the word diet and I’m not talking about diets in this video in that sense in the weight loss sense I’m talking about diet as in what I eat what goes into my body and because it’s such a sensitive topic and the media kind of hang on to it and everything gets put out of context I feel like I have to say that at the beginning of the video mostly its common sense by the way and but I should get started because we’re at three minutes and I haven’t even done my first tip so tip one tip number one is actually about the word diet itself I hate the word diet I always have hated it to me it suggests having to deprive yourself of something having to sacrifice something that you like so what I try and do is really question the reason I want something and if it’s really that bad why do I want to be putting it into my body so a supersize McDonald’s meal with a full fat cocoa and an apple pie to finish why do I want loads of sugar and loads of salt and loads of processed food going into my body I suppose it’s all about turning things on their head and asking yourself not why you want something so badly but the reasons that you wouldn’t want to have something and then I can tell you it becomes a lot easier to cut things out now of course this won’t work on every type of food things like macaroons and eclairs I can tell you it doesn’t work on but things that have really really gross and over processed fine once in a while but ask yourself if you need to eat those on a regular basis or if you need to be eating a takeout on a nightly basis ask yourself why you want these things is it because you can’t bother to cook or have you become addicted to that kind of artificial taste just have a little look into what you’re eating and why you feel you can’t live without it and try and turn things on their head so instead of thinking I really really want this thing but I can’t have it think I don’t really want this thing in my life and then there’s actually no issue as I said doesn’t work on everything but I find it a really useful way of thinking about what I eat by the way give this a really big thumbs up underneath the video if you want more health diet fitness kind of thing tip 2 if you don’t buy it you can’t eat it if you fill your shopping trolley full of biscuits crisps fizzy drinks things like that then you will have them in the house and you will eat them people send me and sweets and all kinds of things like lovely cakes and things like that with samples and beauty stuff and if I have them in the house I will eat them I’ve got a really sweet tooth I’ve got no willpower however if they’re not in the house I’m not going to make journeys go to the shop and go and get them specially so I do make it my absolute rule that when I do my weekly shop I don’t put in any sweets chocolate crisps biscuits anything else you can think of it’s just rubbish and processed ready meals I’ve never really liked ready meals but you know sometimes they can be quite tempting I’ll come back to this on the next point but I just try and avoid putting anything too processed in the shop and trolley if it’s not in the cupboard I can’t go looking for it tip number three tip number three follows on from the last one which is all about processed food I try and cook every single night from fresh that sounds really complicated but it’s not it can be as simple as just a tomato pasta sauce with some pasta yeah the pastas dried but you know I’m talking about just really good fresh or uncomplicated ingredients and I try and do that as much as I can if you’re not eating loads of things with added salt and added sugar and flavorings and chemicals and colorings then I just think you’re better off and you’re less likely to overeat because you’re not kind of being bombarded with these artificial tastes but also it’s just a kind of cleaner way of living and I’m not saying that you have to do this for every meal but I think that once you get into the habits of just preparing nice fresh healthy food it becomes a lot easier and it just becomes a way of life tip number four tip number four is eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full I know that this one has probably been bantered around loads and it’s one of those kind of cliched diet tips but it’s absolutely true people really overeat and when I go to restaurants I sometimes can’t believe the size of the portions they’re about three times what you actually need as a woman or and there’ll be men watching you know but they’re a lot more than you need to have on your plate so I’m kind of the school old school thing where you eat everything on your plate you eat what’s given to you and you shouldn’t waste anything and that kind of makes it more difficult to control your portions but if you’re an adult then you’ll probably be cooking for yourself so it’s easier to control your portions because you just don’t cook as much food for yourself if you find that you’ve overcooked or over kind of estimated how much you need just don’t put so much on the plate leave the rest in the pan put a lid on it save it for tomorrow there’s always tomorrow it’s not going to be your last meal so don’t panic don’t overeat if you’re in a restaurant and you know that the portion size is going to be absolutely humongous then share with somebody or skip the starter skip the dessert skip the bread whatever just you know you know when your body is full eat more slowly and you’ll become more aware of that you know when you’re full stop tip number five now tip number five in a way is the most important one because it’s all about an overall view of your life and your health and your diet and don’t give up trying to eat more healthily if you have a bad day and you stuff your face full of ten Mars bars and five packets of crisps and have to McDonald’s meals it’s not great but you know what it’s not the end of the world you can always you can’t always start tomorrow that’s not what I’m trying to say I’m not trying to say put off eating more healthily but don’t give up and just kind of throw it all to the wind if you have one bad day because you know it’s it’s an overall thing you have to look at it over the course of weeks or months you know generally are you eating more healthily if you are that’s brilliant it’s all about small changes nobody can do drastic things and stick to them which is why none of these stupid diets work where you have to stick to this insane regime they work for some people but not for most for most people it’s just about cutting down your portion sizes eating less processed food eating less sugar and you know just having an overall better attitude towards your I’m gonna go now because it sounds really really preachy and I could go on for hours but this is all just really common sense and I’m going to go into more detail about the kind of things I do eat I’ve already done that for my breakfast thing and some of you are probably quite surprised it wasn’t like little oat cakes with little bits of scrapings of cheese and grapes on there you know like I eat normal stuff but it is all just common sense smaller portion sizes healthier stuff try and cook from scratch you know try not to order so many takeaways How I Lost 10 Pounds + Diet Tips

hi I’m Jen this is the video where I tell you guys how I lost ten pounds first off I want to say that I am NOT a dietician everybody is idiosyncratic which means that every body is unique what techniques work for me may not particularly work for you we always have different body types and this is just how I lost ten pounds so let me start off with the general stats of my body late 2011 I was around 115 to 113 pounds my way is always fluctuating most bodies do and now in 2013 I am 100 pounds or 98 200 pounds before you freak out this is quite normal for my height I’m 5 1 and my BMI is 18.5 I’m not underweight and I’m actually a lot healthier now this took me over a year to lose this weight and maintain my weight right now so it’s not going to happen overnight so don’t expect it to number one take a picture of everything you eat I know it sounds ridiculous this is actually really important because just the conscious effort of taking a picture of your food stopping and hold your appetite for five seconds it makes it it makes a big difference every week you kind of can see what your diet was like I personally use an iPhone app called Adri it’s super super slow because the people created it have kind of left it on the back burner but it’s still functioning and it’s something that I use religiously I took over a thousand meals on that thing and it’s been helping me a lot to moderate what I eat and so if I eat a doughnut on Monday I’ll remember that I that doughnut until Friday where I can eat another doughnut you know you’ll start gathering data about yourself and just truly learning what it is take pictures of the good meals that you eat and the really crappy foods that you’re eating I found that documenting my food really makes me excited for my meals because I kind of I view food as a treat if you don’t have an iPhone just take a picture with your cell phone I’ll blow that into your laptop maybe every month and just kind of see what you ate it’s no different than writing down the food but I just think that taking a picture with your cell phone is a lot easier number two carbs for me are the devil I’m quite aware that there are good carbs aka complex carbohydrates that are good for you and break down slower in your body and there’s also bad carbs like refined carbohydrates that’s smooth that’s the really soft Wonderbread carbs that are freakin delicious I personally just try to avoid carbs as best as I can because I person would just rather use my calories on proteins veggies um fiber you know just other things that aren’t carbs if I really think about it I probably eat carbs maybe once or twice a meal I always try to make one meal in my day just completely carb list there is addicting components in carbs I just try my best not to fall into the cravings I found that I gradually weaned off carbs I stopped Oran fries at a restaurants get a side salad instead you’re already treating yourself out cuz you’re doing that freakin yummy burger there’s really no need to over indulge and get that pile of garlic fries even though they’re really good your body’s gonna thank you after when I’m eating pizza I won’t eat the crust even though it’s my favorite part especially if there’s like a garlic dipping sauce in it when you’re eating a sandwich take one slice of the bread off so it’s kind of an open-faced sandwich and when I’m deciding which bread to flip off from the sandwich I always make sure I keep the side of the bread that is soaked with the yummy sauces like whether it’s light mayo or honey mustard or something like that I just keep that side on just throw the rest of the carbs away they’re very subtle changes but gradually they’re going to help you wean off the carbs and just be a lot more healthy number 3 remix your meals that means that recipes aren’t confined to what it says on the paper or what already comes into your meal remember you can modify your recipes you can add things in you can take things out for an example instant noodles are one of my favorite meals it’s you know just kind of a staple if you’re a college student when I do with my noodles is that I break off what I break off half the noodles so I’m just using one half and then I’ll pour everything in on a you know but I’ll add zucchini I’ll add broccoli all it’s spinach kale tofu just anything to add more nutrients to my meal all that veggies and fiber is just gonna fill you up faster so you realize that you don’t really need all the so although you’re eating a sodium packed meal my personal thing is I just try to avoid carbs and that’s what worked for me whatever mediocre meal I’m cooking that night I’ll just add some broccoli on the side or some steamed veggies it just makes the components of your meal just a lot healthier and you’ll feel a lot better about yourself seeing some color a mate your meals and it’s just those baby steps that are gonna help you don’t really worry about the calories I never count calories I used to count calories in high school and that’s when I was the biggest it was so bizarre focus on what kind of nutrition you’re eating it just makes everything a lot smoother and easier for water is your best friend I’ve had this canteen for probably a year now it’s kind of my safety blanket it’s always around with 24/7 it’s always next to me when I’m filming at school next to my bed stand when I wake up you know I get thirst in the night and I’ll just start chugging the water try to sip water maybe three to four times an hour and you’ll realize that most time when you’re hungry you’re either just thirsty or you’re just bored so water can be your best friend ditch the soda ditch the juice I stopped drinking soda probably in high school and that helped a lot you might as well just eat the actual fruit because although juice some juices have vitamins in it you lose all the fiber which is what burns the calories when you’re digesting it juice is essentially just liquefied sugar so if you’re looking for the vitamins or the nutrients I would say just to eat the actual fruit because then you get filled up and you get the vitamins and it’s just nice to chew on something rather than just you know shoveling it and let it drizzle down your mouth I prefer chewing it five exercise of course you need it I’ve heard somewhere I don’t remember where that losing weight is 80% of your diet and 20% of exercise I think exercise is important if you want to have like a toned sexy body if I’m not gonna do cardio I’ll just stay indoors and do Blogilates which is my one of my favorite youtubers her name is Kathy Howe and she has great workout videos that are around five to nineteen minutes long some of them and I just did on my room and I I do that probably four to five times a week and that’s for strength training and I absolutely love her she has this vivacious and bubbly energy and she doesn’t work out with you and she talks with you the entire way and she’s just I just love her I think she’s the one who keeps me going to exercise so if you’re ever watching this cassie I want to say thank you for molding my body to what it is right now I used to do cardio in the summer and that’s when I was using Ozzy’s the treadmill all the time I would run maybe two to three miles three to four times a week but I stopped doing that because it’s just so cool to go outside to the gym I know it’s a stupid excuse but I think the holidays really kind of fatten me up and made me a little bit more lazy now I probably gonna get back into the groove of it once the weather warms up but I find that music listen to music and exercising didn’t really help me at all music just wasn’t enough of a distraction to me that’s how much I hate working out I would usually just put a youtube playlist on my smartphone and I’ll just watch YouTube videos as I’m working out another trick is to walk everywhere if you park your car somewhere forget the parking spot that’s right next to the CVS go Park all the way to the end where the trees are a word I don’t know some giant Cal plantation is just Park as far as you can and walk to the drugstore every step counts it’s all about gradual buildup usually if I’m craving something I’ll either work out I’ll start painting my nails or something I’ll I’ll do my homework I’ll pound a really long sip of water I think your body is always playing tricks on you I think it’s always saying that oh you’re so hungry you want this cupcake no you don’t need that cupcake you aren’t roll on your own body and if you want to lose ten pounds you can do it you know how to lose weight no one wants to hear it but it’s essentially the same thing you got to change your diet and you got to exercise those are the main two things and these are the little small changes that I made to my life and I don’t saying that I did these BAM overnight I think I started developing each rule around I don’t know five to six months apart if you mess up one day it’s okay it’s okay to mess up I you know you’re you’re a human and you have me and cravings but just don’t give up every meal is another chance to you know fix your diet I suppose if
