With the cold air and the Super Bowl around the corner, it’s Chili making season! This easy keto chili is one of the best keto chilis you will have. Only a few simple ingredients but it packs loads of flavor. Plus, this keto chili can be made in an instant pot and ready in 8 minutes!

Don’t worry…it’s okay if you don’t have an instant to cook your chili in… a slow cooker will do or you can cook this on the stove top. It just might take you longer, but the flavor is still there for this low carb chili con carne. So if you have a pound of ground beef in your fridge and a can of tomatoes, you can make this! It’s one of my go-to ground beef keto recipes.

In this video, I show you how to use an instant pot and how to cook keto chili in the instant pot. This is an easy keto dinner recipe you will want on regular rotation this winter.

Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. Choosing one diet over another can be a daunting task.

I believe that as soon as you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, it’s important that you stay committed to your plan. A lack of focus is often to blame for weight loss failure. You may find yourself needing to start over.

You’d be well served, for this very reason, to build up an online library of recipes within your chosen plan. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

This is extremely important.

Boost Ketosis

I only bring this up because I’ve been guilty of hopping from one plan to the next myself. Why did I do this? Only one reason…

You’ll tend to develop a pretty powerful appetite for whatever it happens to be that your diet won’t let you consume, which a competing diet allows, and perhaps even encourages. And one thing is clear… Culinary videos can be undeniably hard to resist. 😉

If you expect to see lasting results, you need to stick to your chosen plan of action. While each diet is completely unique in its approach, many say that healthy food and a slight caloric deficit are really all it take to help you reach your goals.

Makes sense. Control the calorie intake, eat clean, and the fat should come right off. This is especially true if our activity levels are relatively high.

You’ll probably recognize this as standard, conventional wisdom. There’s probably good reason for this!

Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. With some diets, macro-nutrient ratios are more important than calories consumed. And you may not want to play around with those.

Keep your eye on the prize! Don’t stray.

3 tablespoons avocado oil
1 pound ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
¼ onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 jalapeno, seeded & diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 (13.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

Using the saute function on the InstantPot, heat oil then add beef, onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, garlic, and salt. Cook until beef is browned and vegetables are softened. Stir in seasonings and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and stir. Cover and pressure cook for 8 minutes. Let pressure release naturally.
