Diet plans clearly abound. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
It’s for this reason that, when you’ve committed to a diet, and and you’re watching these recipe videos to get meal ideas, you want to avoid looking outside of your chosen diet for meal options. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It will bring you back to the beginning.
For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. If you’re going low-calorie, then compile low-calorie recipes. If you’re a low-carber, then you’ll want low-carb recipes.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. And when I really think about it, there’s only one reason why…
Food and drinks that one program doesn’t let you consume, some totally different eating plan encourages. Besides, those “video doctors” sure do make compelling arguments. And let’s tell the truth. Recipe videos are usually 100% tempting. 😉
Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
Makes sense to me. Don’t pig out all day, steer clear of prepackaged junk, and you should see some pretty powerful results. Raising your activity levels will also prove beneficial (obviously).
This is clearly the most popular weight loss model in existence. It probably earned its right to be!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Many diets put more of an emphasis on macro-nutrient ratios. And playing around too much with those may be something to steer clear of.
At least stick with one thing long enough to see results!
