These days, there is simply an overabundance of diet plans. You may be overwhelmed with your options. I know that I get overwhelmed with mine!

For this reason, the moment you’ve made your choice, and you’re looking to prepare your own tasty meals, sticking to your chosen diet is of paramount importance. Failure to stay on your chosen path can prove detrimental. You could very well end up in the position of starting all over again.

For this reason, I suggest starting a diet-focused recipe library. So if you’ve chosen the ketogenic diet as your weight loss method, for example, then you ONLY want those types of recipes in your library… and nothing else.

Know what I mean?

Hopping from one diet to the next is certainly something that I’ve done in the past. And I’ve done so for one simply reason…

That which one program encourages, a totally different diet plan is likely to turn its nose up at. I mean, it’s still officially “diet food,” even if it’s not your diet… right? They say it’s healthy, after all. So it should be okay, right? And let’s not BS ourselves. Cooking videos are oftentimes extremely will-shattering. 😉

Clearly, you need to stick to your chosen diet plan long enough to see results. Of course, it could be said that any diet that focuses on all-natural foods and reasonable portion sizes can be enough all on its own.

I’m no diet or fitness guru, but I see merit in that. The fat should come right off if you control what and how much you eat and drink. This becomes even more powerful as you raise your activity levels.

This is common weight loss advice. It probably earned its right to be!

Even still, if you’re trying to stick to a particular plan, you may want to stay the course. Many diets have more of a macro-nutrient ratio focus. Failure to adhere to your diet’s particular ratio may compromise your weight loss results.

Give your chosen diet plan enough time to work for you. Then, if it doesn’t, at least you won’t have yourself to blame!

Plain  Original Cheesecake – Recipe:

3 Eggs
3 Cups Plain Fat Free Greek Yogurt
1 small box instant sugar free/fat free cheesecake pudding flavor
1 tbsp vanilla or almond extract
3 tbsp sugar substitute (I use stevia)

In mixing bowl add eggs, sugar substitute and vanilla or almond extract and beat well. Add yogurt and dry pudding and mix well. Pour into a lightly greased pie dish or 9 inch springform pan. Bake on 350 degrees for 30 min. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight before eating. 1/4 of this cheesecake is 1sp, 1/8 is 0 SmartPoints.

  2. I hate the taste of Stevia. Made the cheesecake very bitter. I think I will try a remake with 2 1/2T real sugarfor 1 point a slice. Or do you think it would work with 1/4c sugar free maple syrup?

  3. By chance has anyone tried this recipe baking the cheese cake mixture in silicone muffin size? Hubby doesn’t like cheese cake but I do. Also, would love to know if they are freezable so that I can stock for a later craving. Just curious…..

  4. So I actually measured out the Splenda packets on my tablespoon measure and it was 6 packets of sweetener not 4. I wish I watched this before I just measured on my own. Tasted too sweet but I’ll see after it’s cooked.

  5. I used light vanilla Greek yougert instead being the points were less than plain Greek yogurt. I forgot to check the serving size to compare more accurately. Anyway, I on,y used 3 ingredients & it was awesome! 3 eggs, 3 cups light vanilla Greek yougert, small box sugar free cheese cake pudding. Mixed all by hand, pores in spring form pan @ 350 for 35 mins. No sugar needed. Hubby approved!
