Diet plans are in no short supply, my friend. The sheer volume of diet options is ridiculously overwhelming.
It’s for this reason that, when the choice has been made, and prepping healthy meals is the next step, you only want to seek out food and drink recipes that fit within that particular diet plan. Straying from your original chosen plan may very well lead to failure. It will take you back to the very beginning.
Building up a diet-focused recipe library on your computer is a great idea, for this very reason. So you’d want to compile videos ONLY related to raw-food veganism, if that happens to be your chosen diet plan.
The importance of this cannot be overstated.
I’ve been guilty of hopping from one diet to the next. The reason for this is actually quite simple…
On low-sugar, you crave sweets. On low-calorie, you crave calorie-rich foods. The grass always seems greener on the other side. If the person on the screen tells you it’s healthy, you should probably eat it, yeah? And let’s not BS ourselves. Recipe videos are often unbelievably tough to resist. 😉
Sticking to the plan long-term is perhaps the most important component of dieting. Calorie reduction and fresh, healthy foods and drinks are said to be the most surefire way to lose weight healthfully.
I can certainly see the merit in that, even though I’m no diet or fitness guru. Put the right amounts of the right fuel into your body, and reap the rewards of a healthy body and physique. Oh, and move that body of yours a little more! 😉
No doubt that this is standard, conventional advice. And it probably has that designation for a reason!
Of course, not all diet plans follow this model. And even if they don’t, you may want to stick with them anyway. Diets are often effective because of their macro-nutrient ratios. And you may not want to play around with those.
Please stay the course. Your future self will thank you for it!
